Taking Care of Mom
What can I do to prepare to take care of my mom in the future years?
Brad in Virginia, 55
To take care of your mom, first take care of yourself so that you can be there for her during the rest of her life. What I am most impressed with is that you want to be proactive in her care. I have said across the country in all my lectures, be proactive not reactive. My book “Elder Care Made Easier” takes into account all of the factors to consider when you are caring for a parent, spouse, or older person, so I also suggest you give it a read.
